"Crashes way too often. I`m running this app on 2 Android devices and a Surface Book. I prefer using it on the Android devices (Note 4 and Note 10.1) but it is utterly unstable crashing many times a day. As a marketing tool for the physical calculator, it works well I`ll be replacing my TI Nspire CAS and my 84 with one of these. But I`d really like hp to stabilize the Android app so I can have it with me always ... without constantly having to restart it. Also, I chose the option to hide the menu bar, and there is no way to show it again (not that it`s particularly useful, but it is where you enable / disable key clicks and haptic). Swipe left works on Note 10.1 but not o. Note 4."

"This is probably the most counterintuitive calculator ever conceived. Get the Mathlab Pro calculator App instead. It is a well-thought-out design that is far superior to this mess."

"This calculator wasn`t able to do what I needed it to do. It`s a difficult interface to use and I feel like I`ve now wasted 19.99"

"It is great to have the best calculator ever built in my android device but sometimes the app get stuck when dealing with graphics, probably is my android. Of course i am rating the app not the calculator itself (We know by far that hp calculators are the finest machines you can find in market)."

"I had trouble running this on an old device. It runs well on my newer Samsung S3 Tablet. But: Since Samsung pushed an update to Android P, this app looks awful. The simulated screen looks like there`s some sort of really sloppy anti-aliasing going on. Gray pixels all over the place, text is difficult to read, etc."

"The new release fixed the crashing problem. Application now works as it should and I have not had a crash since the upgrade. For function, I would have rated it 5 stars, but I rated only 4 because I fear another upgrade will break it. It was useless for about 6 months before the recent upgrade. From May 2018: This was a great app until a recent upgrade blew away all my data and programs. New version crashes after being open for about a minute--independent of what is being done-- even if idle. Could not recommend until HP fixes."

"This``app`` does not work on my phone AT ALL. The calculator layout shows on the screen, but swiping left or right to open does nothing."

"This calc is overpriced, and on my big screen phone, it is constantly missing the input as I press the on-screen keys. One of the worst calcs I`ve used. Could, should be so much better. Wish I could get my money back."

"Crashes continually on startup. Resets your user settings after a crash. HP claim that they had fixed this problem in the last update, almost a year ago. Have emailed HP twice, no response.. no support for this product? You cannot disable `searching for network`, if you don`t need a network, why can`t you disable this function? The graph could utilize the full screen size rather than trying to copy the physical calculator size, no imagination by HP programmers. Great when is does work."

"First I want to say I really like this app. I have the actual HP Prime but have switched to this so I don`t have to carry it with me. And now that HP made it available for the family library I`ve given it 5 stars!"

"They should have made a 50g with a color, backlit screen instead. The Prime is too hard to use for me. I haven`t confirmed it yet, but I also think some of the functions from the 50g are missing in Prime."

"After a problem with the updater, which was subsequently repaired by HP, the program now works. As far as I can tell, this emulator works as well as the real calculator. Now, if HP would only port this to the iPad, my life would be complete."
