Forget the following firmware update - New firmware update from last week, 10/26/22, seems to have repaired the Day & Dusk issue. It appears that it was never an app problem after all. I wish Lifx had just replied to the reviews with; ``working on a firmware fix``. For those still having problems, go to the settings and select firmware update. If your lights need an update it will ask you if you want to update now."

"Worked good for a long time until I got an in-app message that there was a firmware update for my lights. Performed update and all my lights no longer showed being active in the app. I logged off in the app and now everytime I try to log on I get a message that there is a Network Problem & to check it and try agaun. There is nothing wrong with my network unless your update somehow changed sometging in my router. Everything else that goes through the router works fine. Reinstalled app, no help."

But, at the present date, all it took for me was 2 minutes. The light bulb connected right away and I haven`t had any problem with it since. The app is nice, gives you a lot of control. However, one of the things I would love to be able to do is to set up a schedule with a color from my color palette. More schedule control."

"It was a pain getting this light to work. Then after an upgrade to the firmware App will not find my device. This app had me sitting at my outlet for an hour. Even copied several YouTube videos and still won`t connect my device. This bulb is useless without the app. Save your money and get a different bulb. It`ll save you the headache. Don`t get me wrong the bulb is fantastic and will eventually work....someday."
