"The conection from bt1 to cellphone app needs to be updated it. Keeps dropping the connections and takes a long time to connect. You can only connect with in 3ft and the bt1 manual says the maximum distance is 82ft."

"The old app was so awful that I got super excited when I saw that a new one was released. But the fact that it requires a completely unnecessary account, and an Internet connection, is a deal-breaker. I am actively trying to write my own software to monitor my Renogy devices since theirs is so bad, but since they also refuse to use open standards or document the protocols they use I`m just going to find a different supplier."

"Absolutely abysmal! Support staff are clueless and don`t understand basic electrics. I have a 30amp dcdc charger showing half the charge current going into both the starter battery and house battery despite the fact the charger is not wired inline with the alternator to starter battery so should not show any charge to start battery, 6 months plus of emails and now they start talking voltage, not amps. Screen shots sent to show problem. Norton flags the app as malicious as well. 👎👎👎👎👎"

When installing the app, it needs you to create an account, wants personal information, and to allow location. "This app used to work flawlessly, but now it never can pair to my batteries. I have two 200ah Bluetooth Renogy Batteries, and they`re only sometimes recognized by the app. I have to re-add the batteries multiple times per day just to see what my current charge is. This is very disappointing because it use to work perfectly fine until about a month or so ago. Really sucks. All we`re asking for is a simple app that monitors state of charge. That`s it. Nothing else."
