"Love my Synology...DS Photo allows for auto backup of pictures to DS Station. Wish it would let you pick the what folders to backup. It does have an option, but won`t let you pick a folder within the DCIM folder. I would like to just be able to select the Camera directory and not everything within DCIM directory."

"It took me a while to work out how to login correctly. Initially, it kept logging into the Guest account which did not show me all my photos. But I was able to work out how to connect to the correct account. This enabled me to see all my photos and albums. Whilst the App works as it should, I think Synology need to provide better instructions on how to login correctly. My trial and error method took me the best part of 15 minutes for something that should have taken a minute at most. Haven`t tested uploading from mobile but will update once I try that."

My only criticism is that sorting by date is not useful as it also sorts folders by date, when it`d almost always be better to sort folders by name regardless of file sort settings. BUT now it has started to crash in an endless loop... just opens and crashes... Not sure what Synology are doing about this as it has been reported for weeks... Do they not understand the urgency for fixing this? Or have they given up on the company and planning to sell it off?"
