"I measured myself with a ruler and then tried this app. I had to try a few times but the measurements from the ruler and app were only different by .9mm . I would say that this is fairly accurate. I`m glad i bought it."

"However, it needs to be able to open existing pictures for remote measurements. This would be an easy feature to add, and would allow for easy lens fabrication."

"It was not done well. You match up the card with the green area then it doesn`t match with your eyes. Your eyes centered don`t match with the card. I was better saving my two dollars and sticking with the measurement I got from PD ruler. I found for free on internet. I just wanted to make sure I did properly because I ordered glasses."

"Using a 5x and the developer of this app obviously hasn`t upgraded their camera API, as it causes the pictures to be upside down, which proves the app to be pretty useless. Got it to work on front camera but given the position of the camera on the phone (top left) I have trouble getting it to detect my pupils and where app isn`t helpful"

"In theory this could translate your 3D head to a 2D image and make an accurate measurement. BUT, you have to hold your head, camera, and credit card in just the right position and angle. And you can`t. Not reliably. BUT...you could check your results with a 99 cent ruler to know if you were doing it right. Better just use the ruler and call it a day. ``OK Google, how do I measure my pupil distance with a rule?`` Wow, that was easy. Why did I blow $2 and an hour trying to get accurate results with this app?"

"Automatic mode never works for me. Even in manual operation, where the pupils and card edges are perfectly selected, it`s still about 8mm too short, compared to optician measurements. Maybe the device camera is interfering with their algorithms (sure to lens variations), but it just doesn`t work well enough as it is."

"I tried about 6-7 times and knew the results weren`t correct because the card wasn`t parallel to the camera or my head wasn`t. I finally decided to stick the card to my forehead, so at least if my head was good everything else would be. The next hurdle was that I was trying to align the green outline of the digital card to my card and that always yielded slightly off results. Just focus on putting the center marks on the outside radius and it will be golden. PD was verified by OD later :)"
