"Update: Since day 1 of buying the app. Downloaded books don`t stay downloaded. If you take too long of a break from a book, it disappears from the ``available offline`` category and intentionally deleted books stay in said category. This app does give you access to your Plex audiobooks as long as you have your audio files properly organized on your media server. I would really like to see some sorting/organizing options for the library so that I can sort by author, series, ect."

"As of now, this is the best application available to stream your audiobooks from your plex server to your android device. Apple has the Prologue app but as of now, it is not available for Android users. Overall, the app is.. absolutely in development but with a small team and a big task for a free application, It`s fairly good (as long as you don`t run into these issues). I will try and label a few of them below: 1) Loss of sync progress. As others have mentioned, there are times where I open the app to resume my book and it takes me back to the first file. (example, I`m reading a book that is split into 8 parts. I am to part 3, but every time I open the app, it starts the book 30 minutes into the first part.) This essentially makes the syncing of progress WORSE than useless as it makes you THINK it`s working when it clearly has some bugs to iron out. 2) At times, the app fully crashes, being unable to authenticate/play the audio from Plex with the only way around this is to clear the cache and restart the app. I`m sure this probably puts a lot of people off this app as one shouldn`t have to do such a thing to make the app work again and I wonder how many have given up with it due to this. I think this should probably be a high priority bug to work on. 3) Unable to pause from the notification shade. There are times one is unable to pause the playback or resume it from the notification shade. Again. This affects this app from any real form of usability and makes it a hinderance to use at all. There is a lot of work that needs to be put into this app and I`m appreciative of the work that has happened thus far. Unfortunately, I believe there is still a lot of work that needs to be done until this app can successfully be marked as complete. It looks like the developer has moved to open source so hopefully, with the help of some more eyes and hands, this app might polish up into something wonderful :) Until then, I think 3/5 is a fair rating and once these bugs are addressed, this app will be great."

"This is a good app if you already use plex. As a stand alone audio book player it`s decent but it lacks some features of the fancier audio book players that you might find (smart audio book player for instance). The biggest feature that I was missing, that I was expecting to have was to be able to play my position back from my computer. There does not seem to be any support for that kind of thing however. I expected to be able to log into plex and playback my position but that isn`t how it works I guess. I really want a web app or a native linux app to go along with this. It is still useful to be able to download straight from my plex library however."

"I love the idea of the app but it has a few too many bugs for me to recommend it. Frequently have to restart the app (and sometimes my entire phone) to get playback to continue because I get strange playback network errors even though I`ve paid extra to have the offline storage feature. Several times I`ve had books lose my place and start over from the beginning. The start screen frequently doesn`t show my most recently listened titles and I have to find them in the library. And more."

"Not functional enough to be useable. I can see the audiobook and the tracks, but when I click on any chapter or try to seek forwards, it resets progress and plays from the beginning. When the book first loads, tracks are numbered correctly, but then all chapters are listed as track 1. Edit: The response to this comment is not applicable to my problems, I`m already using it as suggested"

"There seems to be a bug currently where you can`t upgrade the app to the PRO version. When you tap the Upgrade to pro text it opens up a popup that you have to Agree to, but the button is no responsive."

"Certainly let`s you listen to audiobooks on your Plex server, so it works as listed. But it`s missing a few features that I would consider basic. 1. There`s no sorting/filter system. You`re suck with either seeing everything in recently added or recently listed. No release date, or alphabetical, or by length. 2. No casting feature. I have to cast my entire phones audio to my speaker, I can`t just cast the app. 3. Small details such as seeing individual chapter lengths without playing them."

"The app is buggy AF! I unlocked Pro to get offline access, but weird bugs that made it impossible to use 1. Every now and then, all the downloaded audiobooks get deleted and need to be downloaded again. Even if the app is in offline mode. 2. Skipping chapters is impossible. When you skip, the app starts the audiobook from the beginning. 3. Starting a random chapter is impossible too. The app starts the audiobook from the beginning 4. Seeking/jumping will take you to the beginning of chapter"

"This is the BEST app for listening to audiobooks on your Plex server. Unfortunately, that’s because it`s the ONLY app for listening to audiobooks on your Plex server. Lots of bugs and missing features, but if you want to access your Plex audiobooks on an Android device, this is unfortunately your ONLY option. So we are stuck with what we get. "Recent update has broken this app on an S6 Edge with android 7. On a clean install, after signing into plex account, app crashes before I can pick a user. Have purchased the paid upgrade, would appreciate some support or ideas on how to fix. App was great before this , I use it basically daily."

"Unable to change library format. Unable to sort book via subject or author or even fiction v non fiction. Somet8mes it doesn`t see the cover and sometimes it does. Playback is good but options are so limited I don`t see much reason to play for the pro version."
