"Takes a long time to for app to open any bring up map, and do not like how Denver parks pinned all of their trees, most that I`ve noticed do not bear any fruit!!"

"I love the idea of the app but nothing in my area is up to date newest I could find was 2018 most were 2013 and 2014. I asked for a refund and uninstalled it"

"It won`t allow me to edit my previous review, which is a Google play issue. After their response of server issues, the app is great! I found some trees in my area and even placed a marker for a black walnut tree in a nearby park. Mobile friendly, easy to use, and has a simple design. Thank you for the response, Falling Fruit Team!"

"I find this very hard to use. The interface isn`t intuitive and the layout makes it difficult to read. I love the idea of the shared foraging sites, but I`m disappointed with my initial interaction. An FAQ section or How to Use would be great. I fumbled around for twenty minutes trying to find something in my area, and I`m in a great location. I`ll add my own forays when I have more time."

"Great app. Really useful for recording plants for both my use and others.
Sometimes marker moves around, but im guessing that my gps issues and not
app. Please support this app. And please start adding to the map! Love it"

"It has the same functions as the website. If I`m spending four dollars on an app, it should at least integrate Google maps, or easily show me where I am in relation to trees. Uninstalled."

"Great so far. Simple and intuitive user interface. Functional. Loads fast.
Suggestions: 1- make it so you can upload pictures instead of taking a
picture 2- make it so you can save a handful of locations and go to them
easily instead of typing the address each time (or making me turn on gps)
3- stop making it require microphone access, that`s creepy 4- option to
hide or otherwise differentiate sources that aren`t verified within the
last year. You get 5/5 when you implement these changes"

"``100% of proceeds from app sales go to support our hard costs (servers and infrastructure to keep the site online). We`re a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so this cost is also tax-deductible in the US.`` happy to pay a small fee to help this free website out. The app is only going to get better with more support, so these one star reviews for a service you like are pretty confusing."

"Great idea. Okay execution also. The only problem is the maps are extremely incomplete. None of the tropical fruit trees growing in public spaces in San Diego that I know of are on here. It seems like a lot of the entries may be the developers trying to make the map appear more throw than it is. I don`t know"

"Neat concept but for $5 this is missing some incredibly basic functionality, like pinpointing a location on the map through the list view. Instead I have to find what I want on the list view then go through EVERY unlabeled dot on the map to see where the specific entry is located. And if it`s going to scrape data from iNatrualist with a URL it could at least make URLs clickable."

"Suggestion for the developers: When adding a new marker, you currently have to select the species and genus of the tree. Most people aren`t going to know which of the 6 different types of Fig trees (or which of the 4 different cultivars of Loquat) they`ve found. For this scenario, there should be a `Fig - unknown type` (or `Loquat - generic`) option. Otherwise, app works great. Deserves a higher rating."

"Over all the app is amazing 👏 and makes it easy to forrege, there is one change I feel needs to be made however. The fruit options are way to specific requiring you to know the exact cultivar. This doesn`t work for I`d say 80% of casual foragers. My suggestion would be have a family option where you can pick tye type of fruit E.G. apple, plum, then an optional sub section. Where you can put things like bramley apple or prunus domestica. I think this is what`s maleing people drop the app."
