"This app is totally ridiculous. It only works with certain cell phones and even then only loads 1 out of 5 times. It wouldn`t work with my LG4 and when starting to load would knock my phone off of Wi-Fi. When it does work all it tells you are the temperature settings and if the icemaker is on.Wouldn`t work with my wife`s Galaxy S7. Samsung is a great company but this app should embarrass them."

"This app does not work with 2015 model. And to make it worse they don`t have one for RF28HMELBSR. That sucks after shelling out $3000 for the cool refrigerator that is now nothing more than a regular one. Customer support sucks equally. They don`t have a clue. Gave up. Disappointed! So what up Samsung. Looks like several people feel duped. Are you going to update your phone software or not? Big deal, I can log into smart home and see the temp of the ref. Wow, can`t change, just see. Samsung, you fell flat."

"Fixed S5 crash. But app interface isn`t super intuitive. The Defrost Delay schedule is a good idea. And it does allow the addition of two extra schedules. But why not allow us to modify the existing ones to fit our hydro utility time-of-use schedule? It`s not of much use without allowing that. What time-of-day is the fridge using? It`s not displayed anywhere. Making the schedule mentioned above again kind of useless. What`s the MAC? What`s the IP address? Seems like basic info that could easily be displayed."

Magically it will work. The app itself is garbage. I thought I could retrieve codes to get my fridge to work, nope. Thought I could monitor Heath, nope. Just provides minimal almost useless support."

Even then, I could: see the freezer and refrigerator temps, but not change them; turn on the Ice Maker, Power Cool, Power Freeze and Defrost features; and see Power Consumption. It does not notify me when the door is left ajar. That would be useful. Since the app is only functional within the home network, so what? Not worth the cost IMO."
