"Was under the impression the trial would last 90 days but 30 days was the trial period. Which is odd, I was really enjoying the app as I became acquainted with it. 30 days isn`t enough time for me to commit to it. So I`ll return to the way I previously handled home maintenance. it`s a great app but I already knew to complete these tasks. The feature that kept me interested in subscribing to upkept was the organization of tasks, receipts, and the simplicity it brought to my life."

"I tried doing this with an excel spreadsheet, but this is so much better... and the step by step instructions are amazing. Love. Love. Love."

"I`ve subscribed to Consumer Reports for 30 years. I have no problem with them looking for a new revenue stream. But I rent a relatively new apartment and $5 a month is a bit much. But the app is easy to use and I love the concept!"

"I`d pay maybe 1 dollar a month for a maintenence app... I mean it`s a maintenence app"

"Description does not specify that app is basically useless without monthly subscription - app itself might be helpful but description is misleading since its not ``in app purchases`` but full subscription for anything past the tutorial."

"Waste of time and space. Seriously, who wants to be uploading pictures of the refrigerator?? I wanted an app that would let me create projects and record details and tasks..... Service people in their contacts.. last time contacted etc. Here`s a clue consumer reports, nobody wants to upload pictures of their refrigerator! Walking in the kitchen is enough."

"Liking the idea of the app so far, but I really wish it was customizable so that we could add items it doesn`t automatically include. For instance, I have a sump pump, which is not included in the app but definitely should be checked regularly. So I will have to set reminders elsewhere for that and other things not included in the app, and at that point it becomes a question of whether I want to forego the app and just have all my reminders in one place."

"Paid service with outrageous fees. Developer asked for an edit to my review. Therefore, I will reiterate, 5 dollars a month for something that can be done via paper and pencil for free is outrageous. I would say 2 bucks a month would be the top end I would pay for such an app service. Again 60 bucks a year is not ``sustainable.``"

"Too rigid. I`m a longtime CR subscriber, but this was entirely too much handholding for me. I wanted more flexibility in setting tasks and goals for maintenance. This is a cannon to kill my mosquito."

"Great App, but the premium subcription is way too expensive at ($5/month)"

"Like most other comments here... The app has SOOOO much potential and is well laid out and looks like it would be very helpful. BUT, having a $6.50/month subscription is way too steep. $78/year to just keep track of maintenance stuff is a bit unreasonable. Also interesting that they claim to be non-profit, but created this credit card trap. It lets you add your first item and you think everything will work but when you try to add a second item, that`s when they give you a popup for subscribing."

"Too rigid. I appreciate that I can add major appliances, but 1) I want one place for ALL maintenance and when I can`t add others, like my fresh air system, it fails there, and 2) I can`t add other maintenance tasks to the list for specific things my unit may need or that I regularly do. So, it`s too restricted for practical use."

"Aggressive for your credit card details. ``As a nonprofit`` they plead-- well, maybe offer a donation option rather than charging a rate as expensive as much more tangible for-profit services!"

"Listed as free with in app purchases, but actually using any of this app requires a monthly subscription. Dishonest business model from a ``non-profit.`` Won`t be using."
