SIE Exam Prep 2023

The SIE (Securities Industry Essentials Exam) is an exam established by FINRA to test the abilities of prospective securities industry professionals. Regardless of firm association or lack thereof, anyone can take the SIE as long as they are 18 years and older.

The fundamental ideas of the securities business are covered in the SIE test, including risks, products, market structures, and regulatory organizations. Noted that passing SIE with at least a score of 70 is one of the two essential steps to become a securities industry professional. The other requirements are passing a qualifying test for that particular industry and completing a background investigation.

In terms of the format, this entry-level exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions, and the participants must finish attempts within 1 hour and 45 minutes. Additionally, it costs $60 to take.

Understanding Products and Their Risks - 44% of the exam
