"I used to like this app but it had gone down the drain big time. Despite a slick interface the booking experience is terribly misleading. I just booked a hotel it was showing at a discounted price then price got bumped up by 30% upon booking and without mentioning the booking fees which are not shown until far into the process. As far as I remember there were no platform fee before. Also, a detailed breakdown of cost is not available on any receipts they sent. Awful UX. Awful client experience."

"App displays a discounted price right up until you have to pay. And if you miss that and pay, oh boy.... Wish your money fairwell. Even if you book and cancel within one minute, and explain yourself why it was done, you won`t get refunded. No room for mistakes here, guys. I learnt this the hard way. The property points fingers at Agoda and Agoda at the property that I booked, but in the end I left to be without money and without place to stay. Their favourite phrase ``sorry for the inconvenience``"

"My only criticism would be that the price they showed was much lower than the price you will pay. Positive thing about Agoda’s customer service Malaysia is everytime you send them an email or call, they will respond within a day for sure. It was easy to contact them & toll-free number. I had good customer services experience from them so far, they’ve been so friendly, helpful and polite. I’ve made other reservations without any issues as well. Well done!"
