I used to have ABC Mouse for them and they hated it as most of the app and lessons are painting pictures and popping bubbles... but ReadingEggs is great especially if you want to focus specific subjects. Ignore some of these negative reviews as most seem to be technical issues/user error. I had one technical issue while subscribing and it was fixed within an hour."

After a trial of my son using we purchased an 12m subscription, within a few months he was needing to challenged so we progressed to the next levels unfortunately there were so many glitches, the screen going red, freezing often, it became unusable. The app & tablet software were up to date, tried reinstalling. "I really love this app and the simple games to help my son learn English and maths. I would say the only downside is that once you get to a level that is too difficult for them, it doesn`t send you back to rework other levels or offer simpler games for that particular problem. Sometimes for a break we go back to the younger section as the activities and games are more fun also. Otherwise it`s a fab app!"

"My two year old enjoyed playing the games on the app. For the games where he had to pick the correct letter or number he would purposely choose the wrong one because he thought the sound it made was funny, so that was a little frustrating. The app would also regularly glitch. It would freeze in the middle of the game, play the sound for the next activity, but only show the background, and was generally glitchy. The app was installed on a ``compatible device`` so it was rather annoying."

"My three kids have grown up using Reading Eggs as thier sole teaching aid. I love the interactiveness and the fact that after a little while you can just be near and let the child tdo the work. The app also helps - we can exercise on the go and it`s pretty smooth. I never once used the digital library or most fothe resouces, as soon as the kids learn to read, they move on straight to real stuff - we got plenty of books for them to be staring into screen."
