"The Daily Camera needs to get its online act together. There appear to be two separate DC apps and it`s unclear which is the official one. The other one feels more like a regular news app and works OK. This one seems to be trying to recreate the look of the paper edition, but it just makes things harder to browse and the transitions from ``paper mode`` to ``something you can actually read on a phone`` mode are clunky. Navigation is terrible and hitting the back key tries to exit the app instead of going to the previous page. Given that the online DC subscription is not cheap this is a pretty poor effort."

"It`s getting less and less buggy over time. That`s good but it`s an oh soooo slow and painful process. (Must be a very, very teensy tiny development budget.) However the last update deleted the Daily Camera icon from my apps folder. Now must dig deeper to find it. More pain."

"The app works well. My big complaint is that when I click on an article to read, there`s a rolling ad that is at the top of the article EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! So, so irritating. Yes, I can close the ad, which I find distracting, but really? EVERY SINGLE TIME?!"

"The new ap is worse than the previous version. It continually resizes the screen and puts up pop-up ads. In addition to a near total lack of local content, it makes me want to drop my subscription."

"The app tends to have a mind of its own, making it hard to navigate the newspaper. When I move from page to page, or zoom in a little, I might suddenly find the page display doing weird things and not know how to get back to where I was."

"Terrible web site. I`ve been a subscriber for over 20 years but it constantly forces me to ``activate`` my account. Then, once re-activated, it dumps me back at the start, requiring me to activate all over again. Endlessly maddening! also, in the scanned version of the paper, the text on the edges is often cut off."
