"This app works but the user interface isn`t very good. If your avr is connected to the internet via wifi you WILL have problems (my receiver is 3 feet from router with gigabit speeds) I connected via ethernet cable after a year of frustration and it works every time now. Update 4/23/23 won`t open at all"

The unit it`s controlling isn`t so great it`s a supposedly Denon certified refurbished by a Denon technician and supposedly met all necessary performance checks. But the firmware is so terrible.. the fact the firmware isn`t done in the US where we actually have people who don`t use broken English is annoying, not to mention all the bugs with the Denon AiOS firmware. HDMI is especially bad!"

Ecobee just did this for their app/thermostat control and it`s wonderful. Yes, app is slow, but I could live with everything else if the simple volume controls were more appropriate. Please."

DESCRIPTION
This app for Android Phone and Tablet devices will give you an unprecedented level of command and control over your 2014 or later model year network ready Denon AV Receivers (due to hardware differences, older models are not supported with this app. Please check the model compatibility list below; if your model is not listed, please download our previous “Denon Remote App”). A wide portfolio of useful features, nicely designed graphics and easy to operate user interface do make the app a useful tool to control your AVR.
Control the basic functions of your Denon product with power, volume, input and settings. Have direct access to Quick Select and Surround Modes.
Network browsing is either done within the Denon AVR Remote app or depending on model by selecting HEOS network as input which opens the HEOS app automatically.
With the Denon AVR Remote, your Android device just became an integral part of your home entertainment experience.
