"It would be my favorite maps and 5 stars if you could hide the left menu on Android auto when you don`t need directions and still want to have it up on the screen"

"Normal version runs fine but this beta version seems to stop and freeze your journey intermittently before starting again. Not good if it means you miss a turning Will update review as I go Edit , todays update has cured the freezing but does not seem to be aware of local road closures for roadworks. Shows live traffic correctly but needs a way of roadworks notification"

"Super smooth, great UX. Navigation feels weird though. Like it plans a super weird route and I don`t know why..."

"(Update) The latest version seems to have brought back offline navigation for walking, and has generally been more stable. In general it seems that it is starting to look a bit more than the great app it was before, except the visual details of the app which does not affect functionality in a bad way."

"I`ve had this app for about a week and so far, it`s amazing! Very user friendly, accurate and reliable, which is a must living in Tokyo."

"First impressions are pretty good however some work needed. Very few options (voices etc). Biggest issue is, similar to some other satnav apps, the map colours in Android Auto are virtually non existent. Very washed out and pale."

"Like the new UI, app now add a few features that bring it to parity with alternative apps. Still missing vital features such as bicycle navigation and automatic switch to dark mode based on ambiant light. Only useful for car navigation in day time. Too bright in night use. Please also bring back offline navigation."

"Definitely beta, definitely needs work. Great to have another free option, love the simple yet effective maps, clear guidance and Android Auto. However, the use of the screen is ruined by a big black box containing menu items. This covers half of the useable map and looks dreadful. The menus are not user friendly and confusing and the animation is slow and jerky. A great start, but a very long way from a finished product."

"I`m not quite sure how I feel about this the UI still needs a lot of work but it`s acceptable, the route guidance needs some work I don`t like being asked which one of five routes to take I want it to automatically keep selecting the best fastest route. I am pleased with the effort being put forth in this app. Not quite sure how I feel about the 3D special audio sounds like garbage, that is not a derogatory mark on the app developer just it doesn`t sound good obviously I`m going to turn it off"

"Many issues with this Beta! Downloads for offline maps are extremely slow, app barely works while using offline maps. Android Auto is terrible, stutters on map, barely shows correct position, maps keep changing perspective, speed is way behind realtime. Too many issues to keep trying this."

"The permanent menu in driving mode makes the app useless in android auto. It takes up half the screen and cannot be removed unless you navigate. I don`t need to navigate everywhere but like to be informed of road conditions, speed limits and cameras."

"Have just tested this out with Android Auto. I`m not a fan of the top-down view while driving. The view when coming up to a junction, which shows buildings etc in 3D would be my prefered view for the whole journey. Also would like to be able to dismiss the big menu that come up at start up so I could just have the map on without using navigation. Search worked but my Collections didn`t."

"Outdated maps - some non-existing roads and the ones already built are missing. Bike navigation is just car navigation with its own icon - no cycling infrastructure routing. The only good thing about HERE WeGo is that it has quality loud voice output and nice graphics, although lots of elements on the map aren`t shown."

"Very nice release, it solved most of issues from last time I tried. Used it again for a week and everything goes fine, night mode is to dark on Android auto. Should have darkness adjustable for Android auto, and voice guidance volume too, it a bit too loud to media volume. Sometimes voice guidance disrupts the playing internet radio instead of pause and continue after voice guidance so I have to start internet radio over again"

"Here Maps was exceptional even during the windows phone days. The android app has slowly evolved to become a decent app. Above all it`s free and has offline maps. I would like to recommend here maps to anyone looking for a maps with offline support. I would like to see an option to prefer highways / major roads for the trip wherever possible. This will be of great use to users who would like to drive mainly via highways and also to avoid small roads where sometimes cars can`t go. Thanks"
