"On htc one m8, the car app is the most useful app I ever used on any phone . In the cradle worked instantly and switched off when removed from cradle. Doesn`t need access to everything in your life like many apps ask for. No ads. No updates needed My car has no Bluetooth so any new phones and some of the other car apps are hopeless as I don`t see why we should have to buy other accessories apart from a phone holder when this app does great. thanks htc but you should keep supporting this this. still works well 5years on. Voice control for sms and phone call reply and Music player"

"I read the review for this app and i have decided not to use and to hide this app. But the app start with no reason. Today my phone close itself even if the battery have 40% level. After i started up again the phone i found in task manager this app:HTC Car. How? Or why? Please make another update so the users can remove some apps like this one. I like the phone(desire 820), not this app, and not other bloatware app. Thank you."

"HTC car app was working fine on my HTC M9 before android system upgraded to 6.0. I cannot control music app which is HTC default one and showing `this app is not available while car is in motion`. Shouldn`t upgrade mean better performance rather than downgraded on functions? I purchased HTC M9 just because ppl said it is the best compatible phone to my car but now it is useless after android system upgarde. Make it fixed HTC! very disappointed!!! Or refund the money!!"

HTC Car gives you a smooth experience with clear controls, so you can stay connected without looking away from the road. In car mode, you’ll find options for navigation, phone calls, music and more. To use your voice to control your phone, just tap the screen with three fingers or select “Speak.”
In the Navigation menu, you can search for a destination or nearby point of interest, look up previous searches and get directions to upcoming events in your Calendar. Connect your phone to your car’s stereo system and control playback from the Music menu. To make a call, open the Dialer or People menu. You can also opt to have incoming calls and new messages read out loud while you drive.
