"Netgear mandates a download of this app` in order to setup a newly purchased ethernet switch. The APP would NOT install without a blind purchase of a premium subscription, NO pricing offered. The APP completely failed to recognize or load the gear the subscription is intended to manage. However payment $?? is right on schedule. `Change` button: greyed out. Netgear website: dead end. I detest giving negative reviews, but `NETGEAR` & `NETGEAR Insight` collectively EARNED this one."

"I have NG C6300. Bought it with understanding I could program via setup page / IP. NG foreced me to Nightwing app. IP no longer works. While still pushed / promoted on NG website, Nightwing is no longer available for download. Only NG app is Insight which after creating profile, registering product, and completing painful setup still DOES NOT recognize my C6300. I now have no admin acces to my router. How is that legal or ethical when the agreement at purchase was access via setup / IP?"

"Bit comfusing at first but realy handy and well made -update Okay so Netgear has desided to change they`re pollecies after the fact forcing me to pay a subscription for me to actually use the thing that I bought with my own money. if I would have know that they were Gona force a subscription onto me I would not have bought Netgear eventhough I think they make the best hardware in the consumer market. As a network integrator I wil stop using Netgear for my clients."

"I need this app to allow me to manage my switch. The web interface does nothing when I tap it but the IP button does. This will be the last switch I purchase and will research a company that gives me that ability. This app is useless. What`s the point in using the web interface on my phone since I have to zoom in to view? It only takes a bit of coding to load it into the app for doing your configuration. I had high hopes but Netgear dropped the ball again. No more products for me or my company."
