"the build of the item seems high quality I had a smonet before and broke within 1 month. We`ll see how this one is. Installation was much easier in comparison. I didn`t have to use the instructions, besides what app I needed to download. The portable charger option (in case the batteries die) and rechargeable battery + alexa + wifi options + 5 keys are awesome. the smonet only was able to lock via phone if I was within range. Just starting off and these qualities are already a better choice."

"Need to add AppleTV compatibility for video doorbell use. Seriously why is it not available for AppleTV? Roku app? Eufy will often update this app to show a damn ad that you must dismiss to see security cameras. The word security is even in the name! It is beyond greedy and frankly DANGEROUS to imped video access to simply push other Eufy products/services. Every few updates, the forced ad at launch gets added back. Users complain, it`s removed. Endless cycle of greed."

"Last update is very horrible. I never get any notifications, UNLESS, I am on my home WIFI. NOW, with the last update, our wired doorbell cam, does not play back video. It start for a second or two then says ``decrypting from local storage``. I have never seen that before. sometimes it might continue playing after trying a bit, but most times it says Error, unable to play, or similar. NOTE: this is only the wired Doorbell Cam. Our battery cams work just fine."
