Allows you to save a configuration, access it and write to the radio off line. Great tool for use in the field to clone one radio to another. Not a replacement for Chirp or other programming tools, and I`m sure it isn`t intended to be."

"I am confused by the description for this app social intercourse? Really? But I registered by email and signed in no problem. At first the Bluetooth adapter wasn`t charged when I received it. After charging I tried to connect to my phone after pairing to my phone. No luck. I then gently pushed the device into my radio wiggling a little and click! Works great. Now when I am mobile I can program or change settings on the app. I see no social or anything on this app."

You must login to the app every time you open it and you cannot login without internet. I bought the tidradio bluetooth programmer specifically so I could program gmrs radios with no screen when out and about without a laptop. It is great when I have internet on my phone. "Didn`t work for me. I have four UV-5R+PLUS radio`s. When trying to read from the radio I get a message saying ``Unable to read. Try selecting UV-5R (Version 2) and try again)``, or something very close to that. Problem is there isn`t a UV-5R Version 2 choice on the menu. I really like the concept of this device and will wait and see if they add the UV-R+ to the lineup."

"Fried my brand new radio. Got a brand new baofeng uv-5r in and was excited to try this. First phone would download the app correctly so I tried an old phone which did work. Followed the instructions to the letter, but all of the sudden the radio went blank and the screen went red. When I grabbed the radio it was hot. I let it cool down then tried to run on, nothing. Let it charge and tried again, nothing. My brand new radio is garbage now. Very, very upsetting. All customer service is in china."
