"They should label which sets or sections correspond with the chapters in the book. I can`t use the app to review lessons if I keep running into sentences I don`t understand. Please update"

"Good app overall. The listing is IMO not very practical. Listing the adj and verbs by lesson would be more useful. same for the sets. Some items in L4 are in set 2, some from L6 are in set 1, etc. Does not make sense. Group them by order of the lessons! I`m working with the books. It is difficult to revise what I need if most things are mixed up! Please sory it out."

"The words are not in the same order as the lessons. The layout of the app is very clunky. You must remove the keyboard before you can see if your answer is correct. It`s good for learning just could be a lot easier to use."

"This is by far the best of the three Genki applications, being able to type in the answers is very helpful. I think the application could do with a bit more polish and features to be deserving of more than 3 stars. Overall I find this application useful for learning Japanese verb and adjective conjunction."

"I cannot use the app at all. When I opened up the app, there is a notice with some words stating that the app isn`t Google authenticated. In other words, the app is useless. Unbelievable!"

"This is my favourite of the three Genki apps. The original is usefiul earlier on, but this is a great app when you have the basic grammar and vocabulary down. This app only takes hiragana answers (required installing a japanese keyboard on my phone), which is unlike previous Genki apps (where you could use romaji). Once I got over this hiccup the app is, in my opinion, better than writing using a regular keyboard. It helps you to write sentences in actual Japanese and gets you accustomed to how a Japanese person would write messages on his/her phone. Although the app is primarily advertised as a way to learn conjugation, I prefer the app for learning the example sentences on the back of each flash card. The in app testing only checks to see if you know how to conjugate a word. Sometimes I find the conjugation easy but translating the example sentence hard, so I find myself lying to the app, pretending I don`t know the conjugation so that I can review the sentence later. I wish there was a way to ``star`` specific cards for being difficult (either for difficulty in conjugation or for translating the sentence)."

"Very few words. 40 verbs and 24 adjectives. This is unacceptably low for a paid app. The interface is jarring, but the functionality is good."

"Thank you for finally releasing this apps. I love Genki Elementary Japanese book very much. With this apps it is really easy to study and I will use it whenever I am waiting in the car. The sequence is very well organized in line with the textbook."

"It`s a good review and practice tool of basics forms, there are some issues and suggestions for the app 1 keyboard covers the correct/incorrect line and pressing enter doesnt drop the keyboard or go to next slide 2 on the deck sometimes only the English appears 3 writing in romaji doest work 4 there should be more decks to review with"

"It`s not worth $5.99.It`s a very basic app, helpful but too basic for the price. It`s great practice having to input the conjugations but you can`t pick vocab used, you can`t jumble verbs and adjectives, can`t look up meanings of words while practicing, for the price it should at least give me quick option to look it up. Also if you get it wrong there is no help with correction or showing what would be the correct answer, it just repeatedly says wrong."

"I`m not keen on having to write the answers for the test yourself feature. Why not just click to see the answer, like with the vocab app? Writing is too slow. Besides that though, it`s a pretty useful app, especially because it has tonnes of example sentences for each grammar structure. You can listen and repeat the pronunciation too, which is useful for memorization. Not perfect, but a decent extra resource for Genki users. Worth the money."
