"50% of the functions work. Yes, out of the box the transmitter pairs with the headphones. But the Android app gets a grade D at best. Constant trouble pairing phone to headphones. And most importantly, I have not been able to listen to music through the headphones. I`ve followed all of the FAQs and instructions posted. Tried unpwiring blutooth and then repairing using the app - but have given up trying to fix this on my own. The app for Android needs a major overhaul and better support"

It`s not intuitive and using colours for patches instead of images or words isn`t accessible to people with colourblindness or poor eyesight. Simple things like androids back action don`t work instead of going to the previous page as a user would expect it asks if you want to close the app?! The sounds and hardware are great but Boss needs to sort out this app!"

"Oct 2022 updates seem to address connectivity issues. App is a little old-fashioned but will be recognizable if you are used to BOSS amps and effects. There`s a lot of power here, though you will need to read the manual and figure things out to get full benefit. The WAZA air headphones are pretty amazing, BTW. In all, I wouldn`t buy the hardware to be able to use the app, but the app wouldn`t stop me from using the hardware, either. Just be sure your app and firmware are up-to-date."

Users are reliant on this app to patch tones to the transmitter and the connectivity is so inconsistent that even though the device is great I couldn`t recommend it to anyone unless Roland FIX THIS APP. This is not n=1 but a very prevalent shortcoming with the app affecting the majority of users for both the guitar and bass devices."
