"I had to do a leaf project and identifying some of the maples was a long and hard process. This app saved so much time. I would hands down recommend. It was correct in everything and easy to use."

"This used to be brilliant but now the camera doesn`t work properly and sometimes doesn`t `see` anything at all. Very sad"

"I`d give it the Sun as a rating if it wouldn`t hurt the plants! While it does lag occasionally while identifying species in real-time, I LOVE the user interface, the animation, the whole User Experience. (Please add links to species info so Enthusiasts/Hobbyists/field Pioneers can access ``whatever they could need to know about [a species]—as long as it`s been documented before 😉.``)"

"I love the idea of this app, but it just doesn`t work. Does things like identifying a manatee as a bug, and really just doesn`t seem to identify birds accurately at all. Google lens can accurately identify the same photos when this app says ``I don`t know? Vertebrates?``"

"Honestly the dots that identify need to be updated, but either way, good app. Really helps see if a thing is a problem or not."

"Autofocus sucks, thinks a deer is an insect :| I`ve tried to like this app for a while now, scanned a decent amount of stuff. But it`s always a pain. As soon as I try to zoom it won`t focus again. Today tried to scan a deer, thought it was some insect for the longest time. I gave up. Wish it would be more accurate, and the zoom issue would be fixed."

"Some problem with identifying plants even tho the plant or whatever is totally local or even easy as hell to identify picture is clear trying every different angle length away up close there is a problem identifying plants and stuff it always finds a random species as decots or grass as something with only 2 score on accuracy which is odd because about 5 to 6 months ago the app worked perfect always got a 5 star identifycation althought I did try multiple angles help me fix this problem"

"I want to love the app. However it just does not work properly. It can`t identify any of my conifer trees, it takes forever to get a species on most plants. A lot of them it just never gets there. Wind making plants move makes it start over. Ugh. Trying to capture insects is impossible. Because they move. There`s a Bee challenge linked with iNaturalist but I can`t get it to see the bee, it only wants to ``see`` the flower the bee is on! And watch out because the app is a real battery suck!"

"Looking for new species to identify keeps me busy outside! I would suggest ways to target or lock specific genus/species to get a proper ID, e.g. saw palmetto is difficult to get proper ID, It thinks its a Dwarf palmetto. This could be seen as an extra challenge though, and I`ll have to come back to certain plants when they`re flowering, so there could be educational value to that. I would also like to choose my camera, and the ``use new picture`` window sometimes bugs. still 10/10"

"Garbage. This app rarely ever IDs a plant beyond ``dicot.`` I`ve had this for years and I think I`ve only ever gotten 2-3 useful IDs out of it, if that. This might be a fun app for kids but it has absolutely no use for professionals. Needs a LOT of work. This app isn`t even functional in any real sense."

"I love using Seek. It`s a free app that can ID thousands of things offline! It`s downright amazing! Sometimes it has a hard time getting to species, but if you take the time to find a decent specimen in the right lighting with a good background, it will usually get it. I use it mainly for plants and used it on the Pacific Crest Trail this year! It is substantially harder to get a ID with a moving animal or bug, but that`s hardly the app`s fault!"
