Romance isn`t necessary in my opinion because it doesn`t really make sense when the resolves around politics. Funny enough my character seems to be pretty good as the campaign manager (even though they never done it) although at the same time I don`t know the background all to well. Regardless of what politician you represent their the same. Not much replay value. Overall it`s decent."

The biggest flaw for me personally, was the fact that I felt disconnected from the Player Character. The storyline feels about like a CYOA of `The Campaign` or the 2016 Election. As for the writing, the game was very well written and had a nice flow to the overall story. Was this the best COG/HG? No, however it is easily in the top third of games and I would recommend it."

"While I detest the policy of a first few free chapters filled with ads, to then have to pay for the rest. I find that what I dislike even more is paying for something with no idea of whether it`s any good or not. I can say that I don`t regret my purchase at all. Initially, I found the ending unsatisfying, like there were too many loose ends left untied, but going back to find that a few alternate choices brought me to a much more satisfying conclusion was definitely redeeming. It`s a little heavy handed with the choices you`re presented. It feels like a very aggressive correlation between other civil rights fights, thus you either agree with their stance or you`re a bigot. It makes it feel like much less of a choice unless you`re determined to play that particular path. At least that`s the way it felt for me All in all it`s an excellent story with a great amount of replay value. I`m likely to replay it several more times."

"Great timing to play this game right before the election. If you are a political nerd and love peeps like James Carville (or Roger Stone) and the West Wing TV show, this one is for you! Realistic enough to depict a campaign (author seemed to know the ins and outs of one) with a touch of fantasy, I really am enjoying this game immensely. High replay ability with the option to choose a political party and different candidates to choose from. Next playthrough is gonna be Rahm Emmanuel style character. A+++"
