(Also, guys, don`t leave bad reviews just because it costs money. A book in a bookstore would generally retail for about £7... You wouldn`t lower your rating of said book just because you had to pay for it, right? I`d say this was a much better read than a fair amount of the books I`ve bought recently)"

"Really have a thing for superhero games and interactive fiction, the hero`s rise series I always felt was lacing in quite a few areas . I`m thrilled that this game actually did some world building and I actually got to understand the characters more and more with each play through. I usually don`t like having linear story lines but this one has so many tiny variations that each play-through feels new. I one hit a single bug , and it` seemed like a technical issue with the new animated choices feature they recently added. Also wish the the choices were a bit more clear to which stat they accord with,. Cant say it`s easy to get over the fail of thinking and agility choice was actually sneak stat. and also just balance the stats a little so they seem to add up more accordingly,I hit on firebrand the entire game but only got to 57 and I treat Robert Like a human and get 68 at the end. Still Love the game I kinda want a sequel, but this is still a beautiful game even as a standalone and I really wanna thank the author for this great game. keep writing."

"Like any other Choice Games, this is a fine story. I really appreciate how elaborate they set the story up, and as someone who is a huge fan of not only Choose your own adventure games in general, but the company behind making these games, I always enjoy their stories. HAVING SAID THAT I felt like this particular story was their most disappointing one (take that with a grain of salt though, I still gave it 4 stars) I`m really not a fan of how we were forced into handling news of our twin being held hostage and being portrayed as us. I felt like this would`ve been a prime opportunity to give the player the freedom to choose how to handle it;do we tell everyone we possibly can that it`s not us, at the expense of the Swashbuckler being put at risk, do we only tell our fiancee, do we only tell the news station, or do we decide to tell nobody? I would`ve personally at least told my fiancee in this situation, but I wouldn`t have tried to hide it completely. I felt like having that choice stripped from me sullied my experience in a way. Especially since I like my first playthrough these games, I like to play the game making choices as if they were actually for real life me. Being forced to do something I totally wouldn`t have done was a little bit annoying. It`s still a fantastic game and story, but it`s not a no doubt 5 star one like this company`s other ones have been."

As our story begins, you have everything you`ve ever wanted. Your TV news show is the highest rated in the city, and you`re engaged to the mayor, with two weeks until the wedding. But when superpowered criminals kidnap the Swashbuckler, you realize the awful truth: the person in the ransom video is your identical twin, and everyone thinks it`s you!
Now, you must draw the Swashbuckler`s laser sword and wear the Swashbuckler`s mask to bring down three of the city`s most wanted super criminals before time runs out.
How is this going to work? Can you keep up the charade? Do you want to? When you meet the Swashbuckler`s sweetheart, will you remain faithful? To whom?!
