"The main perk of the app is the feeling of exploration it introduced to Descent. It is so good that we only play the game with the App now. Even though it allows for a fully cooperative experience, I still take the role of the overlord, moving the monsters and making the calls on their actions. It has not diminished the fun in any way. Potential improvements include: secret passages/treasure rooms, more diverse effects with the search token (other than the expected ``pick a card and earn 4g``), more use for the unlocked lieutenants (I own about 6 of them, but we have yet to meet any, and I really want to put at least Valyndra on the table), as well as special, unexpected monster actions. All in all, the app greatly benefits the game, it`s just really enjoyable. FFG, it`s time for a new campaign!"

"The symbols are all messed up. Instead of showing a fist, a book, an eyeball, or a boot for example, it is showing Pi, greater than symbols, + signs etc. It is impossible to play the game when the ai tells you to focus on the player with the lowest ₩, #, or +. Unplayable until fixed."

"5 stars given just to insure a negative review isn`t hidden from public view. This app is just too high maintainence. You spend more time gooF-ing with app and not enough actually playing the BOARD game. Uninstall the app and just play both sides,sheer brutality for monsters and stratigize the heros. Youll find that Descent 2 is an AWESOME dungeon crawler board game, keep the dignity intact.This app makes it a sucky,slow and boring chore,not a fun gaming expierence. DONT GET THIS 🐂💩."

"Although Decsent is one of the older board games in my collection (I own about 100) this app has elevated it from a game I was considering selling, to one of my absolute favourites. The feeling of exploration and surprise that I felt was lacking in the 1 vs all game is here in abundance. It feels much more like an adventurous romp now rather than the tactical combat game that plays out with an overlord. Having played the tutorial and kindred fire campaign I do feel the missions could offer even more in terms of cinematic set plays & story lines. I just pray that fantasy flight continue to make more campaigns and push the boundries of the apps potential. Id also like to see more relics come into play. Maybe bosses drop loot? I also own mansions of madness and imperial assualt but this is totally my favourite of the app driven games. I love it and can`t seem to stop buying expansions!"

"Not enough, there are only 3 campaigns with the original game in the app, they don`t even use all the villains with the original game... also they spawn extremely fast sometimes I haven`t even killed them all in time for more to pawn yet bam more. Ettin seems to be the games favorite monster I get them in almost every other room."
