"Has this suddenly got harder? My scores have plummeted recently. Now my scores are getting lower why aren`t the puzzles getting easier? As a chess trainer it`s stopped working for me recently when I was previously doing so well. I`m concerned that my brain may be degenerating. (Additional) Thanks for your reply. I decided to uninstall and start again and things seem to be improving, maybe that`s psychological. I should have added that this is a great trainer which I`ve mostly enjoyed"

"Update: after the last update the opposite side moves often don`t show until I restart the app. Please fix. I love this app and the puzzles. I have only two suggestions. Please, add the ability to switch to short chess notation. Also, sometimes when I am solving the puzzle and decide to take a look at it later on, and quit the app, once I load the app back, the previous puzzle is gone, and I have to solve a different one. Can you please fix that? Everything else is just great!"

Fun Chess Puzzles has a collection of more than 4000 carefully selected chess puzzles also referred to as chess tactics, which range from simple to extremely difficult.
The solution of a chess tactic is the sequence of best moves to be played from the given position.
A chess puzzle is considered solved only if all the moves in the solution are played in the correct order.
Your rating is updated with each chess puzzle played. If you solve a chess puzzle, your rating increases, whereas if you fail to solve it your rating decreases.
Chess tactics displayed in the app are based on your current skill level.
The rating is updated according to the Glicko-2 rating system, invented by Mark Glickman.
The chess puzzles include a wide variety of tactical motifs: checkmate, blocking, interference, pin, discovered attack,
