"Vortexica makes me nostalgic for when mobile games were actually games rather than time-wasters. It`s simple, polished to a shine, and it`s fun. There are so many little interactions you wouldnt expect, like when your shots ricochet off the blocks they can go on to hit enemies or other obstacles, or like how your shots knock enemies around, but if they get knocked into obstacles they take damage. Mobile games should strive to be as good as this more often."

"Game is fun and challenging but, I wish there were an way you can reduce de graphics quality because the game lags a lot on my device, also way to change the control scheme, I don`t like the swipe to move the ship and tap to shoot I would prefer having the classic old left and right arrow keys and automatic shooting when the enemy is at sight, or a dedicated button for shooting. Your fingers reach the edge of the screen and that forces you to reposition them and making you crash the ship."

"This thing... it`s a bit nuts. It starts off with a nice quick pace - and it just keeps getting faster from there. I like the pixellated/voxel-ated(?) graphics and the general art style. It reminds me of an old arcade game whose name I can`t remember now, but has a similar premise (shooting enemies and avoiding obstacles in a tubular area), so it`s got some nostalgia factor for me. My only two gripes is thag there`s no dedicated pause button or a dedicated fire button."
