"Love the idea. But would like a mission editor and to be able to play with friends. Also be nice to be able to set units more realistically. As axkmapng commander say I`d normally have at least 3 rifle platoons a weapons platoon and some kind of supporting assets. In the game you have to pick and choose things but it doesn`t really feel like i am in the role I`m supposed to be representing."

"Way more than I bargained for. A fun and compelling RTS experience with a moving, uncensored story capturing multiple perspectives of American soldiers in the Vietnam war. Most gripping is the struggle of having to update your map manually; you have to keep track of your units and the enemy yourself, lest you airstrike your own soldiers. Not being able to see your units as you command them is a unique and exciting challenge for veteran RTS players. Definitely worth the space in your library."

For instance trying to set an LZ is almost impossible as the waypoint menu is longer than the screen area, and you can`t scroll through or reposition the list so cannot access the bottom way points. Deleting player applied map information other than drawings is almost impossible as well. If this was corrected then this would vastly improve the game in my opinion..."

Use the radio to give commands to the soldiers on the battlefield. Keep track of the situation based on their voice reports only. Lead US platoons to clash with Vietcong in a realistic, innovative approach to the RTS genre. Make hard choices in a narrative driven experience and face the outcome.
Radio Commander includes:
