"I wish this app considered the ui experience for phone users. It`s a pain to navigate anything on a phone. Also videos and sites that play videos seem to break every other week and they don`t fix it that quick."

"The only way to use mobile Reddit. Classic Reddit look without the ludicrous `new` social side. Dark themes, subreddit lists etc all easy to access. I wouldn`t use Reddit mobile without it."

"Normally best app there is, but lately, since the last update, nothing will load or takes forever. Don`t know what happened, but the app has been jank ever since. When it gets patched this will go back to a 5 easy."

"I actually get MORE ads with this than I do in base reddit. You get the basic bottom of the screen nonstop ads and then also get them while scrolling. . It`s also really basic. Which to some might be great, but it just feels bland and alongside the ads it takes away from the experience of mindlessly scrolling."

"Had it at 5 stars, but now the app randomly resets and throws me back to the top of the front page. It just interrupted me posting."

"I don`t know how to upvote/downvote posts without having to click and hold each individual post, and frankly it`s a kinda silly design choice."

"I wish there was an option to show exclusively and all top level comments, but not even desktop old reddit has that. 2022 October 13: the app is randomly having my browser open some spam jowl skin cream website."

"Been using Baconreader for what I assume is almost 2 years. I`ve tried a few over others. This app is exactly what you need to browse Reddit. Plenty of customisation options but pop it on dark theme and list view, sign into your account and you`re good to go. Edit: 4 years and counting. Still amazing. Edit: going on 6 and a half at this point at a guess, still the best."

"I used to really like the app but for a few weeks it`s basically impossible to use on Wifi - comments and posts don`t load or take up to a minute to load. I`ve deleted and reinstalled the app and also reset the Wifi but the problem persists. Sadly I may have to start using a different app if this isn`t sorted out soon. Four months later, the issue seems to have been resolved 🙌"

"Recent update has killed the app. It either opens and displays home page and hard quits or creates an android error. Never really had an issue prior to this. Cleared cache and all data and reboot, same issue. Updated, Dev fixed it, my life is once again complete."

"Just like in the play store, the dark mode is not white on black, it is grey on dark grey. Who wants less contrast? Why is it not a black background, consuming battery of every OLED phone out there?"
