"UPDATE. The team has done a ton of work over the years to constantly improve this app and its usability. This is easily now my favourite app for accessing Reddit over all others I`ve tried. Original review: New UI update is absolutely terrible, far less convenient and user friendly and the most obnoxious ad placements of any app I`ve ever used. This just went from my favorite app on my phone to uninstalled."

"The least user friendly app I`ve ever seen. The OG Reddit app makes way more sense. Difficult to upvote comments, difficult to collapse comments so you can read more, difficult to adjust the settings so you`re seeing entire images instead of square thumbnails."

"How do you get to the homepage of your subs from this app?? All it keeps showing me is the list of newest posts. I can`t find any way to get to the main page so that I can post anything."

"Recent update has killed the app. It either opens and displays home page and hard quits or creates an android error. Never really had an issue prior to this. Cleared cache and all data and reboot, same issue. Updated, Dev fixed it, my life is once again complete."

"I`ve been using this app daily since it released back in what, 2012 or 2013? This is hands down the best way to browse Reddit on mobile. I feel kind of bad that I only paid $1.99 for the app, it`s easily worth $10 for how much use I`ve gotten out of it"

"Randomly opens advertisements that are probably malicious. Here`s an idea: Remove the advertisements. We dont want randomly opening ads. Garbage app."

"I wish this app considered the ui experience for phone users. It`s a pain to navigate anything on a phone. Also videos and sites that play videos seem to break every other week and they don`t fix it that quick."

"I used to really like the app but for a few weeks it`s basically impossible to use on Wifi - comments and posts don`t load or take up to a minute to load. I`ve deleted and reinstalled the app and also reset the Wifi but the problem persists. Sadly I may have to start using a different app if this isn`t sorted out soon. Four months later, the issue seems to have been resolved 🙌"

"Has this annoying thing about it when it just resets it self for no reason. I would be reading a thread and the app resets and puts me back on the front page"

"I purchased and have been using BaconReader for several years without issue. It`s easy to navigate and the developers respond quickly to bugs that arise. This app is my top recommendation for mobile reddit users and performs better than others."

"The developer responded to my previous concerns and cleared them all up, I`ve switched back. Changed review and rating to 5 star. I think I`ve been using Baconreader for a decade at this point, it`s worth a look as an alternative to the official Reddit app."
