"The app needs a lot of work. The device itself is excellent but the app lets it down. Here`s why: 1. Buggy and currently GPS not working. 2. Inability to usefully see historical data. Perhaps a personal map with history. Data presented in a richer way such as charts of exposure. It`s clear the company is using the data much more usefully than I am able. 3. Doesn`t always stay connected to Bluetooth."

"This app is fine to look at, but very basic. It is fairly mediocre for data visualization - and hopeless when you want to try to look at long term trends. I find it a little buggy, but not too bad. When pairing, the app got stuck indicating no gps and no Bluetooth, even though both are enabled. It eventually recovered. Given that it has been over a year since the last update, it makes me wonder how well the company is maintaining it. It is a nice little product. Hope they stick around."

"I`ve had the flow for 2.5 weeks now and have tested while travelling in America. I am enjoying using it. Some app feedback below. As David says below, the app is a bit buggy. When I click on the latest data from the main window it sometimes does not load the plot over time. If it does load the plot, sometimes it freezes and does not let me drag the slider. This requires me to restart the app. Syncing data from the flow appears a bit hit and miss. If I start a sync from the app and switch apps, it stops syncing, resulting in data gaps on the plot. I`ve had to keep the app open to ensure it finishes a sync. I would expect it to continue in the background. It does not always load the maps when looking at the plot window. This is the same for `move`, `spot` and previous day summaries. I don`t think this is an internet connection issue. When maps do load, I sometimes get beautiful routes drawn on the map with continuous data (this is what I expected from the Flow marketing material), but sometimes these are very spotty, even when I have been outdoors when GPS should give a good fix. If this is not technically possible due to excessive phone battery drain or otherwise, I would appreciate the option in the app to start and stop an intensive tracking session to capture detailed route data (similar to tracking a run with a fitness tracker). I know you have chosen to use the overall AQI figures to simplify things for the general user but being a bit of an air quality geek, I would appreciate the option to toggle between AQI numbers to raw units for each pollutant, i.e. ug/m3 for particulates, ug/m3 for NO2 and ppm for VOCs (assumed calibrated on isobutylene as per other TVOC type sensors?). This will allow direct comparison to UK pollutant concentration targets. I would also like to be able to view individual plots for each pollutant over time as I am specifically interested in particular pollutants. I would like to be able to zoom into plots, Google map style to more easily see the route taken, as when the map shows a whole city, you can`t see the individual streets you took. Taking this one step further, in time it would be great to be able to export data from the app to a csv file or similar, showing lat/long and individual pollutant concentrations. A lot of info there but hopefully this feedback helps!"

"I am really starting to enjoy this app more as I get used to it. I have the Flow 2 and it is really awesome to use. I love the spots feature on the maps as well as the GPS tracks. My only thing is I wish that there was a better way to view past data charts and maps etc anytime you want versus just the cards that only last a few days. I also wish there was a way to shut off GPS for short time lengths when I`m gonna be on the same place or a battery saving mode for less frequent pings."

"Following on from earlier review, as of recent app and/or firmware updates gps/maps no longer works properly (have checked gps functionality simultaneously whilst running another app and gps trace on that was perfect. Have also tried without anyother apps runnjng but no trace with flow...) Contacted support, and as many other reviewers have commented on, support is terrible. Can`t recommend till they sort this important feature out."

"Great product, very useful. The only two things I would like to change are longer battery life and stop the humming from the Flow. I can`t charge it next to my bed because the sound is annoying me. Apart from that a really innovative product."

"The app works well enough for looking at data from the current day, but checking past data is difficult, if not impossible. Fortunately you can export your data and DIY. Can`t fully judge the accuracy of the device itself, but VOC and PM values behave as you`d expect them to, e.g. when cooking, or using hand sanitizer... The NO2 values on the other hand seem a bit random."

"Needs improvement. None of the text boxes within the app seem to work. I can tap to select them and see the cursor, but it refuses to summon my keyboard, so I can`t actually type anything. Also, I wish the data was a bit closer to real time, rather than needing to refresh or skip between menus before it updates to the current reading. The device itself I also can`t recommend. The battery needs recharging multiple times per day, and the pollution is measured high regardless of the situation."

"Very few cities. I live in Mobile, AL. When I look through the city list, I am not seeing it. How do I know what I am really breathing in? Is there a way to add my city? I have my GPS and location enabled."

"It is okay. Requires to have your Flow device constantly docked, as the battery is weaker than Tesco Tea and it is always in conflict with other Bluetooth devices. It must be an older version of Bluetooth, as 11 months has passed with missing data and Lockdown measurements are an indicated constant green, with nothing to compare with!"
