"I`ve used this app paired with my MV7 mic for 5 months now, overall a good experience. However, I would have given 5 stars if it weren`t for the fact it isn`t yet optimized for Android 11. This is inexcusable for a company like Shure. Like others have said, you start to record and it shows it`s recording, only to find out when you stop recording, no file was created. I have found a workaround for this issue and that`s by recording in FLAC."

"I had to jump in here... i purchased the Shure MV88+ Video Kit a month ago. I immediately downloaded the Motiv Audio and Beta Motiv Video app to my Samsung S10+ and out of the box, this set-up worked flawlessly. Sorry to hear about the crashing and dropping off...(I sounded like a company man, nope just an avid musician and user) to validate my wanting to leave a review, I used the entire set-up two days later for live audio and video recording and with the camera/s of the S10+, Lets just say, it was ridiculously easy and gave me amazing results..."

Unless you have a really old phone that`s on their old list don`t bother with this mic as you have no clue if it`s going to work. "I use it to record meetings and my goofing around on a guitar as well as choir performances but the choir performances sound a little distant from my seat in the audience without a microphone. They are just recorded straight to my Samsung S9 and have been doing it for years now. Probably would sound better with a microphone attached to my phone but that takes away some of the utility for me. I like being able to set the gain depending on the surroundings."
