"Just installed this system two days ago - Thursday, January 14, 2021. While the heated floor will heat and cool, the thermostat only works manually. The cell app is installed and shows what I have programmed into the system to manage the stat for each day of the week, nothing happens via the cell app. I have to assume there is a problem with the software and it`s connectivity to communicate with the stat. So I would like to hear back from the support team to resolve the problem. However, I have endured to see whether I could resolve this issue. As it turns out, the ``troubleshooting`` section of this ``comments section`` on the website, offered a possible solution and when the two units don`t communicate, the issue could be how the startup was done. Since there is no ``start up`` procedure that is defined in the paperwork, it needs to be re-written into an SOP for the future buyers of this product. Doing so in a step by step process is necessary to preserve the future of what I now think is a very good product. When I turned my cell phone on to ``AUTO`` everything worked; it had been on ``manual``. Not knowing that this needed to be done is the fault of the designers and lack of instructions to do so - albeit they assume that everyone ``knows`` how to do what comes second nature to them. Additionally, when the installation directions are re-written by them, put ALL of the installation direction on one sheet. The floor probe installation is poorly described on the booklet entitled ``FlexSnap Installation`` guide, while the ``GreenCable Surfaces`` newspaper type sheet has better information on how and where to install the probes. They need to both be updated to say the same thing so the installer doesn`t have to waste time trying to find out where to place them. Having navigated this gauntlet, I am upping my satisfaction on the product. I caution, however, for the staff to please upgrade the instructions - particularly the thermostat information, since it is the primary controller of the very product you`re trying to be the best in."
