"great app. would be nice to trigger short cuts as well. Play store crashes when opened. firefox opens in a new blank tab every time it opens, not last tab"

"Won`t let me sign in. I sign in to the skill for Alexa. Then start the app on my TV and it comes up telling me to sign in to Amazon. But when I press the button. Nothing happens."

"It works and what it does is very cool, however, it has some serious flaws. Firstly, at least in my case, to pair the Amazon app it launches a browser meaning that if you don`t have a mouse configured you`re stuck there. Secondly, the page to add apps is pretty non-obvious what to do there, I mean adding the apps you want to control is simple enough, but then what? Apparently you need to exit, once you`ve done what you need to do, there is no other dialog but to add apps, no way to exit, you`re just stuck there in limbo thinking you`ve missed some magic dialog. Thirdly, while it does ask you what you want to call your TV, this seems to be somewhat irrelevant, it doesn`t seem to really care, and I mean really not care, if you install this app on a Livingroom TV and on a Bedroom TV, and ask Alexa to, for example launch Netflix, or ``turn Netflix on`` it will launch the app in both locations and there doesn`t seem to be a way to differentiate the two. Despite the TV having a name, all TVs Netflix are simply Netflix. Maybe you can subvert this behavior with specifically named shortcuts, but this is just short sighted. All that said it`s an incredibly cool concept, just not mature."

"Doesn`t work!. Despite successfully adding it as a skill in Amazon, logging in and successfully linking it to my account, and setting up the app on three different android boxes with the apps I want to control ticked, it doesn`t work!. Alexa just times out when trying to find the devices. I must have attempted it over 50 times on 3 different boxes and get the same result. Perhaps, the developer should state that it only works with the Nvidia Shield, so nobody else wastes two hours of their life."

"6* Q: Can we add a generic Android TV Box as a speaker? So in alexa in: Play (section): (radio station), giving TV Box as a speaker option? If so how? If not, can you make a small app for this? Those having difficulty: 1) Install as a SKILL in your Alexa app: login & allow in browser 2} Same login/allow after installing this app, 3) add apps 4) Alexa app: Devices: Scan 5) Alexa: Routines: new + 6) NAME it+ in: WHEN THIS HAPPENS: Choose: VOICE in: ADD ACTION: Choose: SMART HOME: ALL DEVICES:app"

"I`m using this with a Xiaomi MiBox S (Android Pie). This works great! I can ask Alexa to open any channel, pause and resume what I`m watching. I`m withholding one star because when I ask Alexa to `turn off` my Mi Box, she returns me to the home screen, and does no power off. I will change my review to 5 stars if this gets fixed."

"i have this on my nvidia shield tv and its great it basically turns on the shield and starts up apps on it but you can control the apps after that only start them and shut them down via alexa. i did have a problem with the app where alexa kept on finding old apps previously linked from when i had the app installed before a factory reset bur after a email to the developer he uploaded a update to solve the problem which it did. great customer service thank you"
