"Fair amount of replays for such an epic tale!"

"Enjoyed it a lot! Very interesting story and setting. Referring to some of the other reviews, the gender of all major characters you interact with is made very clear. It`s only small one-off roles that are referred to nonspecifically. The mention of preferred pronouns only seems forced if you don`t realize that it`s used predominantly for the Djinn, who are shapeshifters and elemental by nature. They mention it because it is not always the same depending on their form."

"A story that coud be interesting if it wasn`t spoiled by the constant preoccupation with pronouns... Seriously, the author could use a few lines to describe the characters, especially considering that pronouns don`t mean sexual orientation."

"It is a different setting from most of these Choice style games. The writing is pretty good if a little long-winded. The problem I have and cannot ignore is the distinct lack of straightforward pronouns in regards to the majority of characters. They are almost all nebulous and it is implied that many are transgender or perhaps just genderless. It makes for a tiring and hollow read as few characters are adequately described so as to remain nebulous in their sex."

"Who cares about the stupid pronouns? The story is what matters, and its excellent!"

"After I bought the game, it occurred to me to try looking through the chat on the CoG website. As it turns out, the djinn will always be the same gender as you and all romancable characters are gay, despite the description saying you can play a straight character. I understand wanting to have a book solely for the gay community, but seriously, don`t say it`s for straight people and then charge us $7.99 for it."

"The concept is interesting: being in charge of a Djinni sounds fun but what you could do with your Djinni is more limited than what you might expect. The plot was actually really good but many of the characters were introduced too quickly in the throne room and had names that were confusing to me. I find that Iskander and Yusr were introduced better with more dialogue and character development. This story lends itself well to replayability but I found the first playthrough somewhat confusing."

"The game has an interesting premise but it ultimately fails. I lost interest in the game after the the 1st chapter but continue in thinking maybe the beginning is just a bit boring. I literally just starting random clicking choices and skipping the story and still got the good ending. I did replay and actually read the story but I still did not enjoy it. It is long-winded and the weird pronoun thing was excessive. The romance was lacking for straight pcs and kinda seemed to force LBQT on to you"

"It felt like a hollow world, an idea that never had life breathed into it and was expected to stand on its own."

"I can`t give a full review yet but I enjoy the writing of this author so far and adore how alive the characters feel. The Persian inspiration and exploration of mythology is a delight and a breath of fresh air as alot of stories published tend to steer more to a specific Euro centered fantasy. And I like how our Main Character is allowed to fail as well as have a personality. While you can decide how they act/react, it seems that they are--in nature--a bit of an adventure seeking trouble maker."

"very enjoyable book game. I love the freedom of choice afforded to the player that the text based medium allows. There is definitely a lot I missed that I will be replaying the game for. thank you, creator of this game!"

"This is a fun fantastic fiction involving Arabian folklore. It has multiple endings, so, good replayability."

"Okay but a little confusing in the beginning: The only problem I`ve had so far with understanding the story a little is at the beginning when you decide your race. You don`t really give any description about the difference between them except Isklanders race. Which kinda takes me out of the experience cause I don`t what is the difference... I mean you have a glossary made yet don`t have anything about them that differentiates them. Over all not a bad story just confusing at times."
