"All those whining about the pronouns are doing themselves a disservice by giving up on this story. For starters, it`s practically novel length; so you`re definitely getting your money`s worth. But mostly it`s the characters and world building that draws you in. The writer has created a rich lore and you find yourself nurturing more than one character. The story reveals itself slowly but there`re plenty of mini ``episodes`` to tide you over."

"Other reviews have mentioned the pronouns, but really, who cares? So the pronouns for some of the characters are a bit weird, big deal. Just mentally replace them in your head or something. The writing is superb, the characters and plot are complex and interesting, the world the author has created is vast without being overwhelming. Definitely pick this one up!"

"The story and especially the word is interesting, but the choices (specifically the romantic ones) occasionally don`t make sense."

"I couldn`t finish it. Gave me too much headache. All those weird pronouns just confuse me: is that a guy or a girl? or neither? Zy? Zer? `Mx`? I wish there`s an option early on to disable all the weird pronouns. Too much for me, sorry if I can`t pretend to be smart."

"I really liked the writing and the premise. I thought our ``ghost-busting`` (technically, ``daemon-dissipating``) crew was delightful, a time travelling girl is in particular very delightful. I liked all the adventures we went on. The romance was lacking and I think it`s best to just give it a skip. The world building can also get a bit confusing initially, but stick with it! It`s lovely. That, plus the sheer size of the book, should be enough to satisfy most fans."

"Bought the full choice game because I was sucked in, but I have to agree with the other Google reviewer. The writing is excellent, but the modern day politics and excess of obscure pronouns changed the tone midway through, and seemed to pander to a subtype without any true depth. I play choice games to escape from real life, and enjoy subtle ties, but nothing was subtle here. I`ll finish it just because I`m the person that has to, but my hopes aren`t higher than a 3 star."

"Leave it to CoG to make ghost hunting politically correct. I mourn the death of art in this brave new world."

"I`m a huge Ghostbusters fan so i really wanted to enjoy this one. Its well written and an interesting idea, but it suffers from the author`s bias and that reduces the role-playing function. From the start your political beliefs are written by the author and you get no choice in the matter. Nationalists are fascists, corporations are evil, government is basically good, and you are an outspoken LGBTQ ally whether you like it or not. Choice games are supposed to be about choice, not indoctrination."
