"It says it`s for patients and carers. There is nowhere that mentions the carer. All the inputted details are about the patient. It looks like I`m the one with the cancer. Also, I seem to be getting spammed a lot from the creators. Please stop! Lastly, the type of cancer my OH had is listed, but the surgical treatment isn`t. In fact, there is very little about his type of cancer. Maybe he would have been better getting breast or prostate cancer as they are where the attention lies. It`s early days for the app. I`m sure as time goes on there will be lots of improvements."

"Can`t complete the sign up process because there are no Queensland
hospitals listed. Touts itself as the number 1 cancer app in Australia, but
only supports Victoria, NSW and Canberra? Not good enough."

"I think this has promise but I can`t get past the sign up. It`s starts with today`s date and asks you for your date of birth. You have to go backwards by the month and having been born many years before 2017 it would take me forever to keep going by the month to get back to my birthdate. I cannot believe there isn`t a regular field in which you can enter your birth date. And you cannot progress with the sign up unless you complete that. Anybody completing an app on a smartphone is going to be born at least 10 to 20 years prior to the current date so starting on the current date doesn`t even make sense."

"The information and articles provided in this app are fantastic. An endless
amount of useful information for cancer patients and their families.
Unfortunately the sign up process is not that easy. Hospitals in New
Zealand are not listed, nor are all the different types of Head and Neck
Cancers. Maybe this will be added and improved upon overtime."

"When I tried to set up my account it would not allow me to go past data of birth. So on trying to enter that I found the only way to do it was click back EVERY MONTH and EVERY YEAR ..... seriously!!! I was not going to do that for 57 years!! Imagine the average age of diagnosis of cancer being 67 years ...... that`s a lot of clicks. I abandoned ship. Please fix this or I won`t regret recommending this for our pts."

"Cancer is such an overwhelming and complex issue for those affected by it, both directly and indirectly. The team at CancerAid have done a wonderful job in creating a resource to guide patients and their families through the `cancer journey`. When there are so many spurious and disparate sources of information out there about cancer, CancerAid is a fantastic one-stop-shop to give people accurate information, and help them better manage their illness. There are some issues in terms of appropriateness to certain geographical locations, but I know that the team are working on this. All in all, an excellent app. Disclosure: I am a CancerAid MVP Clinical Champion"
