"HOW TO FIX WHITE FLASHING SCREEN. Uninstall ESC app. Re-install app, download material, log-in and agree to Google Drive backup. App will work on first use. During first use, open settings from three-bar menu in top right-hand corner, hit Settings and switch off the (top) data backup slider. The app should now stop attempting to backup to Google Drive on start-up. Worked on Android 12. Good luck. CJML."
