"Twice now, this app has either failed to update my balance (so I unknowingly have a 0 balance) or frozen altogether. I find out when I am trying to pay for my coffee & there is a growing line behind me. Both times the solution was ``update to the latest version``. How am I to know that there IS a later version? Peets seems content to let me find out when the app fails, invariably at the most inconvenient time. How about making the app check for updates and at least informing me of the update?"

My only issue I have is that when I try to redeem my rewards points for a free beverage or food item, the app will deduct the required points and still charge for the item! It has happened a number of times. I showed this to a local manager, they told me to contact customer service."
