"The app stinks it doesnt really filter out like it should and if you are looking for a weeks stay you there is no way to filter out the properties that have minimum rental lengths that are longer and so half the time you are looking at a place you cannot stay at for a week. And when you try to put in your preferred dates it almost never registers without touching thw date a hundred times if ever. I used the other app air bb it works a lot better and has choices for length of stay and month"

"Booked a Cabin/apparment, Owner was in jail when we arrived so we needed to find something else in a hurry. So holiday was ruined since we ended up in a Hotel instead of a cabin where we couldn`t fish, bbq or take hikes etc. VRBO was unreachable but never apologize or reimburse the fee for the cabin we booked and paid. You can still book the cabin though :/ Con men and scum never book with them!"

"I don`t want to blame the app for the host`s failure but this is the only way I can get any repercussions for my treatment. My host is horrible! I traveled 14+ hrs expecting to be able to relax when I arrived more than 3 hrs after check in. My condo was DIRTY! It looked like someone just stepped out. I have pictures to prove it. Just be careful! But I`m sticking to airbnb from now on. I`ve never been disappointed with them."

"We made a reservation for a stay through this app. The cleaning fee and rescheduling is messed up. Our daughter came down with Strep and RSV so we tried to reschedule a few days out. They sent a generic message about their refund policy and they said they could not do it. After this as our first experience, we won`t be using VRBO again. Even though VRBO doesn`t have much to do with this, the experience was horrendous and we won`t be using it again."

No point in my outlining every terrible/frustrating thing I had to deal with on VRBO due to a host canceling our weeklong stay less than 24 hours before our check in, but it boils down to the lack of customer service from VRBO. The company has put me and my friends through the RINGER just to get the most basic customer service response for a host issue that we had NO control over or say in. Truly not worth the extreme frustration."
